North Brevard Economic Development Zone  (NBEDZ)

Industrial Revenue Bonds

Industrial Revenue Bonds are securities issued by a public entity that offer below market interest rates on financing to qualified private enterprises; terms for repayment may also be longer than those typically found in commercial loans.  As the name suggests, the debt is paid for out of the revenue of projects being financed, and are the financial responsibility and liability of the private enterprise participating in the financing vehicle.  For more information on IRBs in North Brevard, click below:

 

 

 

Foreign Trade Zone #136

Community Development Block Grant Funds

Both the City of Titusville and Brevard County are designated entitlement communities by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and receive annual allocations of Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds, portions of which may be used for eligible economic development activities.  To learn more about each jurisdiction's action plan for the use of these Federal funds, click below:

Titusville Community Redevelopment Authority (CRA)

Historic, downtown Titusville is the only Community Redevelopment District in North Brevard.  With the ability to provide small grants for building refurbishment and facade improvement, the Community Redevelopment Authority (CRA) has a 20+ year track record of business assistance.

  
Titusville SBA Historically Under-utilized Business (HUB) Zone

The area west of the Flagler East Coast Railroad in downtown Titusville is currently part of a Federally-designated HUBZone - a tool which helps small businesses gain preferential access to Federal procurement contracts.
